  I love this church! I'm not a member but I've been going here for over 2 years now. Pastor Tony and the entire ministry is awesome! When i relocated to VA, I visited many churches. I joined a church in Newport News as well but i keep coming over to Calvary. It's something special about Calvary and I have to keep visiting. I'm happy to attend
  8 a.m. service and still have time to visit my clients or friends church as well. Everyone smiles and are friendly at Calvary:-) I love to bring my friends to Calvary Church.

  They extract a lot of money from the people via the "tithing" concept (see the website regarding "Give"). This is not taught in the New Testament. Tithing was proper in the Old Testament, and the Old Testament taught 3 tithes. That comes out to about 24% of your yearly income.
  
  See Calvary Chapel Philadelphia's teaching on giving for the Christian. It is Biblically balanced and still within a CC church.
